"O Governo deveria ter tido em conta o parecer da Câmara de Lisboa, porque a autarquia é quem está mais perto dos cidadãos e este projecto está claramente contra os interesses da mobilidade na cidade", disse também Carlos Chaparro.
Na opinião do PCP, devido à alteração da rede da Carris, "boa parte dos bairros da cidade ficam completamente isolados à noite, nos fins-de-semana e feriados".
"As pessoas para se deslocarem serão obrigadas a recorrer ao táxi ou, caso disponham, a viatura própria", considerou o dirigente comunista.
Por outro lado, argumentam os comunistas, "a Carris baseia-se em pressupostos que não estão garantidos nem vão estar nos próximos anos", como a rede de metro até Santa Apolónia, o prolongamento até Campolide da Linha Vermelha, ou a ligação ao aeroporto.»
